The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD) as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained
premier testing organization. The conduct of the CSIR- UGC NET Examination has been
entrusted to the NTA by CSIR, Government of India.
The NTA will conduct the next CSIR-UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Lecturership (LS)/Assistant Professorship on 15 December 2019 for following subjects.
1. Life Sciences
2. Physical Sciences
3. Chemical Sciences
4. Earth Sciences
5. Mathematical Sciences
The Test will be conducted in two different shifts as given below:
Shift - Timing - Duration
*Shift – 1 (Morning) 09:30 am to 12:30 pm (IST) - 03 hours (180 Minutes)
*Shift – 2 (Afternoon) 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm (IST) - 03 hours (180 Minutes)
*Subject(s) in a shift will be decided based on number of students.
The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
The candidates who desire to appear in the Test may see the details in the Information Bulletin for CSIR-UGC NET December 2019, which will be available on the website www.nta.ac.in and csirnet.nta.nic.in w.e.f. 09 September, 2019.
The candidates are required to apply online during the period from 09 September 2019 to 09 October, 2019.
The Application Fees can be paid up to 10 October, 2019.
