Medical Writer/ Research Analyst 


Job description 


Position Duties and Responsibilities
Our team members have the opportunity to work with our growing team in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to: clinical trial research and communications, drug or trial publication research and review, and oncology conference meeting reviews.


Specific responsibilities may include, but are not necessarily limited to:
-      Conducting secondary research and acquiring information from internet sources and compiling into content
-     Interpretation, analysis, and compilation of proprietary data in a manner that delivers a compelling scientific story
 
Qualifications:
At least 1 experience with a focus on oncology is required; publication planning experience is a plus
Ph.D. / M.S. in biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, immunology, molecular biology, biotechnology, Pharm. D. with a background in biochemistry and/or organic chemistry, or other substantially related field of study
Candidates with a B.S. in one of the above mentioned fields with exceptional experience and/or qualifications will also be considered
Authorship in prestigious peer-recognized journals is highly preferred
Experience planning, writing, and reviewing study designs, protocols, data analysis, study reports, and regulatory documents is highly preferred
One or more years of experience in industry (i.e., with a pharmaceutical company and/or CRO) is highly preferred




Skills and Proficiencies:


Communicate effectively in both oral and written form; compose and edit written materials; explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to colleagues and counterparts
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to operate peripheral computer equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, and other typical office equipment)
Work collaboratively and/or individually on multiple projects of varying complexity in a deadline-driven environment
Highly motivated, organized, and collaborative self-starter
Ability to present a professional appearance at all times
