Tile of Project: “Mechanism of development of type-IFN mediated innate immunity during Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection: Towards development of host-directed therapeutics against tuberculosis”.

Essential qualifications: 

First class M.Sc. Biosciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or any other related

branch of Biology. Preference will be given to candidate who have demonstrated experience in protein biology, microbial culture and mammalian cell line work. Preference will also be given to NET/ICMR/DBT/GATE qualified candidates. 

Emoluments: 17604/- Fixed per month 

Age limit of candidate: Below 28 years, Relaxation as per GOI rules 

Duration of appointment: The position is for a period of four year or until the completion of DBT Ramalingaswami funded project.
